The island of Aegina is situated 22 miles away from Athens. Tradition derives the name from Aegina, the mother of Aeacus who was born in and ruled the island. During ancient times, Aegina was a rival to Athens, the great sea power of the era.

T he cruise begins around 10:00 in the morning and we cruise to the village of Agia Marina which is situated in the east side of the island of Aegina.

After we cruise directly to the small island of Moni which is situated southwest of island of Aegina. We anchoring in the small bay, as you can see from the photos where you enjoy the clear water, the sea sport and the nice beach. In this forestry island lives deer, peacocks and is a protected area. You can photograph the animals and you can walk around.


Around 14:00 we are leaving for the picturesque village of Perdika situated on the west side of island of Aegina. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch in the famous Perdika taverns where the time has frozen back to 1970 with real fresh fish.

After the coffee and your walking in the short and narrow streets we will leave the port of Perdika for Athens. If you want approaching Athens we can anchoring for a last plunge.
